We spent the entire year this year spending time with Veterans and showcasing their heart, soul and strength.

4th of July we were honored for the freedom to sit safely, on the Jersey Beach and hear stories of special teamwork, sharpshooting protection tactics by a Marine, Paratrooper, CoastGuard and Naval Admiral.

Sitting side by side, in the dark, with fireworks bursting in air, we held our flag, and thanked God for all who serve, for the blessing of our country, freedom and continued peace for our whole world.

All year we learned and deepened our gratitude and drive to keep honoring the work of those who serve and doing our best to serve how we can in our communities.

Special thanks to the husband and wife United States Navy Pilot team, who with their children and relatives, used some of their reunion vacation time to share their personal stories with us;

Stories of courage and commitment: both flew planes for our country overseas, as well as landing on U.S. Navy ships in the middle of the night.

We were honored to remember and participate in church and gravesite for all who served in a special 9112025 event at Valley Forge Chapel.

Thank you to the Valley Forge Chapel and British Officers honoring our Veterans at their special 2025 Purple Heart Day.

We were honored to speak with the family of the U.S. heroes from the 10th Mountain Division of WW2, Ski Troopers in Turin Italy that liberated Italy.

Thank you to the United States Army Troops and General Braga who met with us for the 250 Army Celebration.

Thank you to the United States Navy Officers and Admirals who met with us to teach us and celebrate the 250 American Navy.

Thank you to the Battle of The Bulge Association for 2025 celebration and for all of the Veterans that served, we salute you.

Thank you to the USO and also to the African American Aces Museum and their commitment to serving Veterans. Visit and support their work. God Bless.

Thank you to our special meeting at the shore with General's family, who built Mash tents in Korea and solid brick service buildings for our overseas troops. To read presidential letters thanking him, to hold his uniform, powerfully moving.

Take time to connect with those who serve or whose loved ones served for all of our freedom.

We Salute the family of The Travis Manion Foundation who honor Veterans every day and carry the memory and gratitude for beloved sons, daughters, soldiers, and warriors. Their work is powerful and was featured in the U.S. 250th Marine Celebration. Check out their work.

Thanks to all of the NFL Salute To Service Programs that highlight our Service Teams and Veterans.

Special thanks to the Salute To Service presentation by University of Alabama this week and The MillionDollar Band, Drum line, Flags and Majorettes. What a special tribute to Veterans.

Thanks to those that served that also continue the work and build community and honor in the US through leadership youth programs and more.

We thank our brothers and sisters who serve in War for our Freedom and Peace. We are forever grateful and we love you.

250 YEAR ARMY &

FLAG DAY CELEBRATION

A true honor to hear Lieutenant General Jonathan Braga speak in Philadelphia to celebrate the 250th Army Birthday and Flag Day Celebration on June 13,2025.

Lieutenant made time to spend in Philadelphia, to honoring our nations founders, his fellow Americans and history; he shared how special of an honor it was for him to be present with attendees. Guests joined in singing our National Anthem and God Bless America, with the Union League Voices. Wonderful prayer provided by Lieutenant Alma Cooper, also known as Miss America.

After a great inspiring Keynote speech, from Lieutenant General Braga reviewing our local and national history, we had the chance to meet him personally.

To shake someone's hand who has made so many commitments and sacrifices for you and yours to be free, is beyond moving.

Lieutenant General Braga is Commanding General of United States Army Special Operations Command. He has served in numerous critical high level leadership positions, including operational assignments in South Korea, Fort Iwin, Fort Bragg, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Inherent Resolve.

MEMORIAL DAY

Honored At Devon.

What an honor to be part of the annual Devon Horseshow Memorial Day tribute to heroes.

This year, Devon Board of Directors and guests, honored and saluted Peter Aiknota And Roy Parker, as well as First Troop Philly City Calvary.

First Troop Calvary, a volunteer cavalry, celebrate their 200th year in service; the oldest mounted military unit and quite possibly the oldest military unit of any kind.

The Orpheus of Philadelphia, one of the longest standing male chorus societies in America, sang God Bless America.

Wayne Graphton, Devon board of directors and all guests at the Devon horseshow gave gratitude and honor to all who served.

“ the definition of the word hero is a person who is admired for their achievements, bravery, and courage. We can’t think of a better group of men and women that embody this description."

Thank you to all the people today throughout our country who serve and who have lost those who have served.

As the field presentations occurred, a group of veterans and a few honored Devon guests were selected to receive and present the coffin flag to honor those lost. The flag travels state to state from Arlington Va. We were honored to be part of this presentation.

We were given white gloves, honoring, standing and folding instructions. We stood side by side, with marines, army, navy, Air Force and police members; our Lieutenant reflected, honoring those who served with strength and courage to provide our protection and freedom.

We unfolded and folded together in formation, with deep gratitude and care.

We paused to say a group prayer and individually express our own thoughts and gratitude.

EAGLES, and all of Philadelphia, salute the great Philadelphia Eagle Hall of Fame, United States Army Lieutenant Bill Bergey #66.

We mourn the passing of former United States Lieutenant and NFL linebacker, and leader, Bill Bergey on December 25, 2024.

We are so honored to have met Bill while he played and long after retiring.

We thank Bill for all the great inspiration and salute his service as United States Army Reserve lieutenant.
