Phils start the 2025 Season Winning over the Washington Nationals today. Platinum Collection had a great time working with Philadelphia Phillies last season for A DAY OF INCLUSION for special needs athletes. The Special Olympics Winning Baseable Baseball TEAM enjoyed practicing with the pros at the all day Phillies Clinic. After alot of teamwork, families cheered on the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park to watch them win their game!
Today, and always, we are tipping our hat, to their coach, the best coach in baseball: Gold Winning Olympic Coach, Hall of Fame, MLB PITCHER, COACH TONY VLAHOVIC.
It was an honor to see Coach Tony Vlahovic speak in New Jersey this past week and to spend time once again with some of his SPECIAL OLYMPIC CHAMPIONSHIP team! We were able to celebrate his team on the field, in the dugout, behind the scenes, for Opening day at Trenton Thunder 2023, also his book tour.
To spend time with Tony is to grow exponentially, he is a true inspiration. Tony is the founder of BASEABLE FOUNDATION, making sure everyone is included and that special needs athletes all have a chance to participate in baseball.
Coach Tony's social pages keep up with his various events and teams. Check them out and his book as well. Tony's story will power up anyone and everyone's season, on and off the field. "Just Need An Opportunity", a memoir written by Tony Vlahovic, shares his incredible life changing story, including his incredible teams.
Remember, we all "JUST NEED AN OPPORTUNITY. LET'S PLAY BALL."
Wishing a great season to all this spring, and a special shout to Tony's Olympic team, Highschool team, and Carpenter Cup team!

Major Leaguer and two-time MLB All-Star, Dmitri Young, manager of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in the MLB Draft League 2023 season. We caught a quick interview with Coach after his game win against the Trenton Thunder.
Dmitri Young played 13 years in the Majors, including St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, and Washington Nationals.
