| The story of Platinum Prints originates with the co-founders, Kia & Joe, and their life-long passion for art. This journey began in early childhood, with pencils and drawing pads, and has evolved into a shared passion for creating original collectible and wearable art. |

| Kia & Joe have been drawing and illustrating as far back as they can remember. Kia’s inspiration for creating the 1940’s playful pin-up girls started with her favorite pastime, drawing beautiful girls in whimsical poses. |

| Joe’s inspiration for art developed over the years as he sketched classic cartoons,comics, and scenic illustrations. Together, through many sleepless nights and endless determination,they have created their unique and playful Platinum Prints Collection. |

| The current chapter of this story is inspired by the renowned classic 1940’s Pin-Up Girl movement. These sassy illustrations, full of life and carefree attitude, were created for our troops in the 1940’s to help keep their spirits up. By reviving the Pin-Up trend, nearly 70 years later, Kia & Joe hope to spread the same joy to U.S. service men and women currently stationed in Iraq, Afghanistan and other distant shores. |
